Accoutre

Accoutre is a hidden gem in Richmond, VA. They take some of the finer things in life to a whole new level. The only reason why I stumbled upon them is because I was walking in around the area. If it wasn’t for that I would never have been pleasantly surprised with this new discovery. As soon as I walked in Bobby, who I believe is the owner, genuinely greeted me, which instantly made me feel welcome. I wanted to purchased everything in the store because of the hand picked, high quality selection he has. Accoutre is the enemy of the throw away culture we live in, where you’ll find hand made, quality products you’ll want all throughout your house. If you can’t purchase everything, then just choose one thing as a statement piece and you’ll instantly have a conversation starter for you and your guests. I chose some hand made chopsticks from Japan who loves sushi, which was one of the few non-American products. The gift was for somebody who used to live in Japan I knew they would loved it.
