My daughter had been attending public schools from kindergarten through 6th grade. She was an honor roll student, and did really well in school, however when it came to taking the SOL's she was not placing very high. This made me very concerned and I started looking into other options and found out that private and independent schools required assessments to see what level your child is academically. After taking the assessments, once again she was not doing well in grammar and other areas. I visited several top schools in the area and made a decision based on academics and cost. This was one of the best fits for our family. Both my daughter who is now a 7th grader and my son who is a kindergartner attend the school. The school has been an amazing blessing to my children and they are learning and excelling everyday. We are a minority yet my children feel the same, no exception like it should be. We are so happy and pleased to see that this school really cares about their students and families.
