I had a serviceman come over to tell me that someone had stepped on the duct work in my attic pinching it shut. He was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. Americool had a special going where if the serviceman fixed a problem with your AC that there would be no service charge for his visit. However, since the materials needed to fix my issue were not readily available he was unable to fix the problem and I was charged $90 for him to inspect my duct work. $90 for less than an hour of work is a pretty great business model. Especially if the only work involved is climbing into an attic, looking around and taking measurements. I would have given one star, but the serviceman was pleasant and professional.
