I don't know if the actual company is to blame for this horrible experience, but a man named Delmer claiming to be the owner of this business and a small crew of workers showed up at my grandparent's house today. They offered to reseal their driveway, said it wouldn't cost too much but refused to provide an estimate. My grandmother signed a contract and after twenty minutes of work and maybe the worst sealing job I've ever seen, came to the door with a bill of 1,400 hundred dollars. After we argued with them for about 5 minutes they "generously" offered to drop the price to 700. We reluctantly paid and they took off out of the neighborhood. Thirty minutes later they showed back up and parked at the house of an elderly neighbor's home. Delmer came back and apologized for the misunderstanding, only to let slip that it only cost him about 300 hundred to do the job. By the time he left I could see his crew already starting to coat the neighbors driveway. I had my grandmother call the neighbor later and she said that she was also charged in inordinate amount of money after she was promised a deal. I called Delmer and told him not to use my grandparents property as a reference if they came back in the neighborhood. Five minutes later, someone called back from Delmer's number and promised to "knock the taste out of my mouth " if I went around the neighborhood asking questions about what he charged others in the neighborhood.
I've been sick all day knowing I watched this all happen and didn't have the wherewithal to stop it immediately. This company is shameless and prey's on the elderly and the vulnerable. Plus it was just a crappy sealing job. Delmer is likable and is a smooth talker, don't be fooled by these guys, nothing but a total rip off.
