Do not use Boswell! This summer my wife and I have redone our entire house. We have had tons of contractors in and out and have some wonderful experiences. From the moment the gentleman from Boswell came into my home I was uncomfortable. Our interaction began with him taking a tone with me because he did not have the garbage disposal that we ordered with him. We offered to go to the store to get one instead and he said that he would not install it so we would have to wait an hour for another representative to come with one. He truly acted as if we were inconveniencing him and walked around our house muttering under his breath.
Eventually we realized that we needed to run to Lowes to get something for the install. When I asked him to move his car he grumpily said "I guess I'll have to do that too then." He quickly changed his behavior when the other gentleman from Boswell arrived, but the experience was already tense and awful.
The worst part of all of this was that after they let we noticed one of the 5 faucets they installed is dripping. I called back assuming we just needed to let them know and they would help. NOPE! He wanted $130 to come and look at it, when only yesterday I paid over $600 to have it installed. He would not even entertain our plea to help us and then laughed and said "go ahead and contact the Better Business Burea. I already have an A+ rating and go ahead and write reviews." So I am writing a review because I am completely disgusted by the way this has been handled. There are lots of plumbers in Williamsburg. I hope that people take heed of this warning and research their plumbers more carefully than we did!
