I moved nearby several months ago and began using this laundromat only to stop last week. Why? Well....I went to wash laundry last week and the machine did not work but took my money, so I pushed the coin return several times trying to retrieve the money. Out of nowhere a large woman in a striped blond wig named began screaming and waving her arms dramatically while she approached me, talking down to me asking, "can't you read?" and insisting I remove my laundry and place it where she instructed on a bottom row machine. Embarrassed, I quietly told her I was in pain and did not want to use such a low machine. The woman grunted, made a face at me and walked off resuming the tirade and drawing more attention to herself. I tried to ignore her but finally I asked her to lower her voice as there were several people gawking at her unprofessional behavior. I am a college educated professional who is visible in the community and conducts my self quietly and with kindness and respect to others in keeping with my values. I am not accustomed to being demeaned by someone, as I would never dream of acting so horribly. I finally found out that the woman is EMPLYOED by the laundromat and named Pattie or Patsy. I tried to reason that the coin release mechanism was to allow me to get my money back and finally fed up with her nonsense I asked her if she felt her behavior was Christian-like. That is the only time she stopped yelling and it was for less than 10 seconds. She never offered to help me move my laundry to a working machine or offer to return my money. I went outside shaking and nearly in tears to call the owner and she was sure to get in front of me and slam the door in my face still talking so she could stand outside and listen to me. I was concerned that I would need the assistance of the police in order to go back and retrieve my laundry and said so to the owner on the phone. An elderly woman approached me and said when she pulled in and saw Pattie that day, that all the woman could do was pray that she would not be the "one to get picked on" and stated the last time she came in Pattie embarrassed her for using a plastic chair to hold the door open so she could carry her laundry basket out the door. I did have another person wait while I gathered my soaking wet laundry and took it to another placed to be dried. While the owner went through the motion of apologizing after groaning when I said his employee's name, I doubt that he did anything as he seemed not to be surprised that she was the source of a complaint. If This woman didn't work there, I would not hesitate to go back, but I honestly cannot fathom why any business owner would want this sad, angry individual to be the face people associate with their business. While I hope that woman finds peace, I blame her behavior on the people who do not hold her accountable. On the other hand, the laundry in Salem is just as clean and half the price!! Bonus for me!!

They got different size washing machines and dryers. Pretty much you can wash anything you want from smallest to largest items. Change machine is on site. They also had assistance person to help out.
