Very friendly church centered on strong Biblical preaching and teaching. The congregation truly wants heartfelt worship and to grow in their faith.

I can honestly attest to the church's claim of being a place where a person can grow spiritually, become a braver Christ-follower, and be supported by loving people. This church is my family. Whether I need encouragement, advice, or just someone to chat with or get a hug from, I know I can find it here. The Camp of Faith Church is not a place that's all about feeling warm and cozy inside either. It's about living with the dangerous faith that Jesus taught about in the Bible, and that the apostle Paul demonstrated. It challenges the individual to jump outside their comfort zone in many ways, from surrendering an addictive sin to the Lord, to sharing the Gospel with a complete stranger. This church basically trains the individual to become a bold missionary, and as a result, I personally have witnessed to both acquaintances and friends that I probably would never have had the courage to witness to previously. If you're someone who has a desire for adventure, a longing for a closer relationship with God, or a void that you've been trying to fill, then this is the church you've been looking for.

Though some may judge this book by it's cover (or by it's unusual name), if they took the time to come inside and spend some time here, they would discover this rare jewel of Christians who seek to glorify God through diligent study of, and response to, His word. While many pastors exegete God's word (that is, they preach directly from the Bible), the senior pastor at Camp of Faith also challenges himself to live out the application and then boldly encourages the church to do likewise. This church does more to live out the gospel of Jesus Christ than most. In fact, many in the community now know Camp of Faith as "that church". You know, "that church" that still knocks on doors to introduce themselves and share the gospel. "That church" that sponsors block parties to bring people out so they gospel can be proclaimed. They are "that church" where, if you want to park in a convenient spot to view the fireworks you will also hear someone stand on the back of a pickup truck and open-air preach the gospel to a lost and dying world. You won't like Camp of Faith if your idea of church is a place where you can go, relax, listen to a nice upbeat sermon, and then head home for a week of living like everyone else. Instead you will be challenged here. You will come face to face with the reality of God's word and what it means to be obedient: not in a legalistic manner, but by joyfully following the Lord out of an abundance of gratitude.
