Shipped several shipments in Error with CT that should have been sent via Estes. Called CS soon as the error was detected (5 minutes) and was on hold for 45 minutes to resolve. Was told that the shipments would be held at local facility by CS and Manager and returned next day or soon as reconsignment charges tallied. Local facility shipped the pallets out as headloads and instead of local reconsigment charges of $300-$500 Central charging us $1600. I don't mind paying for my error, but should not be held accountable for their errors. Shipments returned damaged and had to be repalletized. CS is horrible, equipment is horrible, handling and resolution is horrible. if you want reliable service and competitive rates use Estes. These guys are on the way out and doors will be closed soon. Careful you don't have freight in their system as it will be tied up in Bankruptcy Court very soon.
