I am a mom of 4 and have had my kids in various daycares and preschools around Charlottesville. I can say with all honesty that this preschool tops all the others. Is it perfect? no. Early on we had an issue with our child, but we were contacted by the director and discussed the situation immediately. She worked with us to resolve the issue and followed up with us on several occasions. From our perspective, the school goes above and beyond what we would expect from a preschool in terms of professionalism and communication. The director has the patience of a saint. I have seen her in action and believe that she is the engine that keeps this school consistently at the top of Cville's ratings. She is always looking for more ways to engage the kids with the latest STEM or Montessori activities, playground equipment, to even having unique classroom pets. My kids are always happy when I pick them up, love their teachers, and talk all about their day in the car. Their happiness says everything to me and I would therefore highly recommend this school to anyone looking for childcare.
