Principal Michael Pellegrino recently handled a problem at his school involving bullying with great care, warmth and professionalism. The problem itself was actually minor, but Principal Pellegrino was on it immediately, and he spent considerable time and effort in respectfully addressing and correcting things. I can only imagine how amazing he is when bigger problems arise at the school! As a father of a child at Evergreen Mills Elementary School, I was extremely pleased and impressed, and I feel comforted knowing that my son is attending such a great school. As an aside, I am also a child psychologist who works frequently with both public and private schools to support students. Rarely, in my role as a child psychologist, have I encountered a principal who cares about his students and school as much as Principal Pellegrino does.
