I saw Dr. Baglio, who had good availability, made molds of my feet, and promptly ordered sports orthodontics from a company in NY. They fit very well and have made my runs a lot more pleasant, but after paying $400 for the inserts, I was a bit surprised to be charged an additional $125 for a 5-minute follow-up appointment. The insurance company paid $30, the office dropped $30, and I owe $60. My partner had orthodontics from somewhere else in town (I forget where), and he was not charged for his follow-up appointment. I understand that medical billing is always a bit ... alchemical ... so I figured I'd post the prices for other prospective clients.
