Gentry Philip A DDS

I have always been one of those people who dread going to the dentist and put it off for as long as possible. I’ve had bad luck with my teeth, always having cavities despite regular brushing and had multiple root canals by the time I was 28. My fear of the dentist culminated with a bad episode with a different dental office a year ago that triggered a severe migraine episode and landed me in the ER. After a colleague referred me to Dr. Gentry I gave it a try as he was in a good location and I of course had more dental issues that needed to be addressed. I will NEVER go to a different dentist in the DMV area! Dr. Gentry took the time to discuss my fears and complicated dental health history. He has addressed multiple cavities and fillings with little to no pain including the numbing injections (seriously, that’s sometimes the worst part but he makes it so you barley feel it). I recently cracked a back molar eating almonds (awful luck remember) and Dr Gentry worked some magic so he could fit a porcelain crown instead of a gold one despite the small space in that area. He also did a complimentary filling for me on an adjacent tooth while working on the crown since he knew I had already maxed out my insurance and didn’t want me to have to wait another year to get it fixed. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Gentry! He and his staff are kind, caring, and good at what they do! He has cured my fear of going to the dentist!
