HBD built my home in 2009, The buying and construction experience was very good. Nice people who are willing to work with you on new construction. By the end of 2009 we began to experience water penetration and interior leaking. HBD pointed to the window suppliers and manufactures who came out to repair. The leakage has never stopped and after every major storm I contacted HBD for resolution. After 5 years of HBD stalling and blaming others, I've contracted a local firm to repair the front wall of my house at my own expense. My take is that HBD is a good company but make sure that EVERY issue you have is 100% resolved in the first year under their warranty. They did not follow through for me.
