Always great, since the early 70s! Been here that long!! From riding in the carts to steering them myself at the safeway, and now the 7-11 and gas station makes it more convenient for everything you cd possibly need in one place. There's a hobby shop, dentist I hated as as kid. But kept my teeth in line, and in my head now in my late 40s,, the famous Variety store, a drug store, the new(ish) Wharf restaurant good for date nights, etc. There's an older one in old town with same name on 2nd to last last block of King st on right by the water often with live music.
