I've never experienced such horrible alteration work or customer service is my life. They quoted me a price to hem a long dress and then charged me almost double to pick it up. I was told, "This is a long dress." Since they pinned it, I think they should have noticed it was long when they first quoted me a price. I picked the dress up, and one side was at least 2 inches shorter than the other. They told me to come back the next day to talk to the manager. I did that, and she asked me to try the dress on. When I did, I was told, "I can't hem this dress. It's all uneven." SERIOUSLY? I wasn't given any money back. I am on the verge of trying to get money for the price of the dress, which is not wearable and was a 270.00 dress. The Manager actually yelled at me when I began to become agitated over the problem (after my 4th visit to the store, each occurring upon her request to come back when a different person was available to help me). She said, "I will have you deported!" That's a very strange comment since I was born in the US and haven't ever lived anywhere other than the US. I'd strongly advise finding a different cleaners and alteration service. This is the first time I've ever disputed with a service provider, and I'm floored to think that anyone would run a business like this.
