Never ever ever hire them to remodel your kitchen or do anything that involves installation in your home. The incompetence here will make you pull your hair out. You would be better off just moving to another home. My parents hired them to remodel their kitchen over the summer and the project was supposed to be finished around Thanksgiving; it is early February and the kitchen is still not ready. We just recently had the oven and stove installed. Imagine having to cook all of your meals in the microwave and on the grill in the freezing cold...for 3 months. Imagine washing your dishes in the bathtub for months. Imagine waiting at home all day for a refrigerator that was delivered to the wrong address... 3 or 4 times. I wish that I could say that all these problems were the product of incompetence but I have reason to believe that there was some sinister foul play involved. Lowe’s contracted with this HORRIBLE company called Home Solutions Inc. I just call them Home Problems now. After our contract was completed they wanted extra money for the demolition of the kitchen. After the demolition they arbitrarily decided that certain other things cost extra and refused to send workers until we paid up. They essentially created a hostage situation with our kitchen. They can’t even install a microwave correctly. Their electrician was supposed to install a new electrical box for the microwave but decided to cut into the old box (a code violation) in order to create a new outlet instead of installing a breakout box. That is only the tip of the iceberg as far as the problems they’ve created for us. I hope they get what they deserve for the flagrant breaches of contract they have committed. Lowe’s needs to figure things out and use another contractor as well as step up their their communication which has been below poor. Do not fall for this scam. I will fully boycott this location and Lowe’s as a whole until further notice.
