I'm a retired Gibson USA Custom Shop vendor and know what goes into making fine instruments. Even with my connections at Gibson, I chose to use Mark to work on my instruments. He's an 'out-of-the-box' thinker with the resolve and expertise to handle any and all problems you may have with your instrument no matter its value or uniqueness. Without a doubt, he an excellent craftsman and if you want it done right, go see Mark. To date Mark has completely refurbished 4 instruments for me. Believe me when I say, "My instruments were returned back to me better than they were when they were new." What's nice about Mark is that when he takes on a project, it's like he's working on his own precious non-replaceable one-of-a-kind instrument; and, when he turns it over to you when he's finished he truly shares in the joy you feel from his arduous and wonderful effort. I'd like to add that Mark sees his work from a musician's perspective. When you play an instrument he's worked on it, you will absolutely know what I mean. In all my years of playing, I've never experienced that kind of oneness with my instruments until Mark 'made them right.'
