My mother purchased a dinette set from this establishment, and we will never shop here again. We picked the dinette up on Sat 6/29/13, because they wanted to charge us $99.00 to bring the three boxes 3 blocks. So I accompanied my mother and picked up the set. We were unable to assemble the dinette until Fri 7/5/13. Upon almost completion we realized that it indeed was the wrong set. My mother called the salesperson and she said that we could return it. So we placed it back into the original package. The salesperson then called my home back and told us that we had until the close of business to return it since we have had it for a week!! (If Im not mistaken it is 30days, but who am I)
So we take the dinette back to the facility and we return it. So I wanted to know how the mistake happened in the first place an of course like the typical business they blamed the customer. What happen to the customer is always right!! So I asked to speak to the owner and that led me nowhere. He stated that the dinette that my mother received was indeed the one that she picked out and that the prices were clearly marked, and the dinette that she wanted was $100.00 more. But when I asked him why the dinette that they sent to my house was priced at 499.99 on the receipt and 599.99 on the floor he stated that it was on sale for 499.99. So when I asked him why is the sale not clearly marked he became angry. To make a long story short a SMART business man would have sold the display at the discounted price to keep the sale and to keep the customer happy. Instead he did nothing, so he went from a 499.99 sale to a no 99sale.
