I grew up here, in the city...I'm so disappointed that they have completely fenced this park in. It is, right now, not available to anyone.
This was a great place for reading in the shade of a tree, or playing ball, or catching Pokemon. It was also the place where several groups fed, and offered other services, to the immense homeless population. It's exactly that population that had always shaded peoples view of this park.
Unfortunately, now, it's completely fenced off from any visitor. I haven't looked into the why...but I will.
