This was my first and last time going to the Peninsula Movie Bistro! The only great part of my experience is that they allowed my fiance to still receive the military discount although we purchased our tickets online. Service was very unorganized, and as a server myself, I understand that things happen but service here was ridiculous. The server put the orders in for the wrong row of seatings so the row in front of us kept recieving our food and drinks. I also don't like that you have to order everything before the movie starts. We ordered a large popcorn, two drinks, and two entrees. The popcorn came, then the food a few moments later which was cold. There isn't enough space to have everything on the table so I had to hold a bowl of popcorn and try to eat my food at the same time. My fiance ordered a drink that looked and tasted like cough syrup, so he asked the guy who came around getting the checks signed if he could order something else. The guy said he would bring him a new drink and a new check with the difference in payment and never returned. Lastly, although this doesn't pertain to my experience, the couple next to me ordered two drinks and a cheesecake, and it took over an hour for them to get the cheesecake. The couple asked several employees could they bring out their cheesecake and the only response they received was "I will check on it." The husband ended up having to find a manager just to finally get their cheesecake. I will stick to going to the Cinema Cafe in Edinburgh!
