Took our 16mo for his 1st haircut and left really disappointed. Before the lady started we asked her to keep it shaggy and not to do the typical "little boy haircut", and only trim up his bangs and just a little over the ears. The lady who cut his hair seemed to be in a rush and was very quickly cutting his hair shorter and shorter. I said a couple times that the length was short enough, but she kept trimming and didn't ask for clarification at all. I finally said that it was good and to stop. And then she put in some sort of waxy hair gel that smelled like old man and was sticky all over.
When we left I noticed several places where the hair wasn't cut evenly and the overall look was almost like a modified bowl cut. Really sad we used this place for our baby's first cut. It's a good thing hair grows back out, but now we have to wait for it to get long enough to trim again to fix what they did.
