Planet Fitness

Looks nice and has nice equipment. Employees are good until you try to cancel. Planet Fitness is most definitely about getting your money. I called and tried to cancel but you must go in and sign to cancel. After a couple minutes the guy clearly intentionally hung up on me like he had better things to do. The staff are fine but really should have the manager cancel your account in case you want to make any complaints. I told the manager today I wanted to cancel my account and she passed me on to someone else. They weren't too concerned with me cancelling or that someone hung up on me. No receipt to say I cancelled. Now I will have to check both bank accounts for two months to make sure they don't take money. If I have to sign, I should get a copy of some sort. I signed up, had a trainer tell me what machines to use. Did what I was suppose to but after a month or two of no results I stopped going often until I stopped completely. It would be nice if after half a year of no activity they could call to help you get going again or remind you to cancel. I don't have a email with them so not sure if they send emails similar to this. They are okay, wish it worked out but it didn't so I lost money with em.
