I would not recommend working with Bowen Building Systems. We had a small bathroom project of installing a corner shower. The project was scheduled to be competed in 4-6 weeks and it ended up taking 16 weeks for completion. This lead time was not due to extra work, but however multiple delays due to lack of Project Management. The Project Manager would not respond to customer communication and numerous days went between contractors onsite. Painting and electrical work was poor at best and rework had to be performed on multiple items. After the project was finally completed, the final invoice was issued and the Project Manager asked for it to be pad ASAP due to cash flow issues. When we tried to work with the Project Manager on the final invoice due to delays and re-work that the customer had to perform, Bowen threatened legal action if the invoice was not paid ASAP. During the execution, the Project Manager asked the customer if they would like direct billing from the subcontractors as that could be easier for the customer. The customer agreed. At the end of the project Bowen took the stance that they were not responsible for any of the subcontractor work because the customer chose to manage the subcontractors. This was 100% false. Bowen managed the contractors the entire time and when it came time for billing, Bowen recommended that it would be easier for me for them to bill me directly. They then took zero ownership in their work. Again, I would not recommend this company.
