Science Museum of Virginia

Great experience with kids I love this place on sunny or rainy days when it's time to entertain the 9 year-old. There is so much to do, so many different exhibits, that we always find something we haven't done before. The best part for us is the crafts, which are a part of almost every exhibit, and really help our child process what she is learning. Additionally, they provide an opportunity to interact with other kids younger and older. There is a lot of interactive learning play, not so much walking around and looking at things, so she is always up for a visit! The IMAX is a great bonus if you can afford the extra ticket. After the films or documentaries, someone is usually willing to take you on a little tour of at least our solar system, and usually they are happy to go adventuring further into the Milky Way... To infinity...? And beyond.......?

Amazing amazing amazing experience. It's a "small" museum, but boy does it pack a punch! Excellent exhibits. Too notch quality and technology. Clean. Super friendly staff. Worth every dollar and it's not even that expensive. Will definitely come again.
