Smith Mountain Campground

Bring the kids and the critters or, just yourself to this very affordable yet nicely appointed private campground. The RV sites have: water, power and, sewer for $25 a day. There is a pond you are welcome to fish (as long as you catch and release) and, firewood for sale on site. Carl's place (a cafe and gas station) is just a few minutes down the road in case you don't want to cook. Plenty of access to Smith mountain lake within a short drive. The outdoor BBQ pit at the camp site is fairly impressive and, the old truck Tim that serves as a fire pit actually works better than I thought it would. I haven't enjoyed a weekend camping this much in a good long time. This is my new favorite place to camp.
