I am extremely disappointed with the service department. I brought my car in to have a tire and rim mounted only to have over 2,000 in repairs a week later after their repairs. When I complained no one called me back for 5 days and then told me I basically just needed a new car. I filed a BBB complaint and again nothing else was done to rectify the situation. I had to have my car towed to another mechanic who fixed the problems for under 900 bucks. The service manager has an associate call me after the BBB complaint who basically just says, "Bring the car back in."
I was simply told to "Bring the car back in. The service manager wants to look at it." When I asked why the person on the phone said, "I was just told to tell you to bring it back in." I was not explained the purpose of bringing it back in as the Service Manager claims in his response or if anything would be done to rectify the customer service issues or damage I feel the dealership caused. I have lost a lot of faith in this service department after over 5 years of doing business there. Why would I return a car to the dealership when I already had it repaired. I will be taking my Volkswagen to another dealership in the future. Please note this in the file, and close out the case. It is pointless at this time to expect anything positive to come from this.
I will definitely go the dealership in Virginia Beach. I am so disappointed because I've been a customer here since I got my Beetle in 2013. So so disappointed. There is also a lot of turn over in the service department. The only person I'd recommend if you do go there is Tim Champion. Sucks I won't be able to work with him because I'm so disappointed in how this was handled.
