Meredith Brown

I have never written a review before and my experience at this nail salon was what made it worth writing one. What started as a friendly environment quickly went downhill. I went in for a basic pedicure with my friend who wanted a basic pedicure and acrylic set. The guy I had was very unprofessional, coughing constantly and extremely sloppy. I am never one to say anything with bad service but my toenails looked like I had a kid paint them. Extremely uneven, sloppy, bubbling up in spots. Staff also kept pressuring anyone who was there and not a regular to get more expensive services or additional services. I decided to get my nails painted (before my toes had been done) and they looked just as bad as my toes. Parts were not even painted! I couldn't believe how bad they looked. I was so bothered by it I mentioned it to one of the other workers and asked if it was suppose to look like that or if it was the polish I had gotten. And he said it would be fixed. The owner then came over (who had been doing my friends nails) and said she would fix them. Took polish off all my nails but missed a couple spots and asked if I wanted a different color. I tried to ask if the problem with how they looked was the polish or not, she didn't seem to understand and kept asking if I wanted a different color. So I said okay and went to get a similar color to what I had (lighter pinkish orange). Came back and she tries the color and it's not visible at all. So she tells me to hurry and get another color. I run back and find a darker color of the similar family (color doesn't look light at all). Come back and it does the same thing and tries it on four nails and it doesn't show up. At this point she is clearly frustrated and I am about to just give up. She tells me to hurry and get a new color again, so now I am picking my fourth nail polish. I decided to go with a totally different color even though the ones I had picked were not light at all and looked normal. She paints it quickly and over the polish she has already tried (doesn't remove the "clear colors") and they look a lot better than they did but the spots she failed to take off completely from the first color I can still see it on the sides of my nails. I also had little pieces of fuzz and cotton ball left on my nail I had to pick off when I got to the car. There was no apology for the trouble or discount, and instead I felt like they were annoyed with me. I get home and look at the bottom of my feet and it looks like they did nothing to the dead skin (the whole reason I went to get a pedicure). My feet were really rough and had lots of dead skin and every time I've gotten pedicures before (basic ones) they have gotten rid of it. It doesn't even look like I got one. Needless to say, I am very frustrated and feel as though I have wasted my money and what was suppose to be a restful girls day left me feeling like I wasted my time. My friends nails looked better than mine but her acrylics were way more expensive then other places she has gotten them and they looked poorly done. They didn't use a drill and shape them up underneath and it looked sloppy.
