BigLick Locks

Changed locks on our office and unlocked a van we lost the keys to so we could look for the keys. They dont make car keys but refered me to BD LOCK to make keys for me. Great service.

I called BigLicks Locks on Richards Blvd at 7:45 pm on a Monday evening because they advertised extended hours and I needed an inside door in my sister's home unlocked. After verifying the address, I was told "someone will be there within 45 min to an hour." An hour and 30 minutes later, after no one showed up and no one called with any status or issues, I attempted to make contact. The phone went right to voicemail, as though it had been turned off. My sister's home is in town, easily located via map or GPS and I verified with the individual that took my call that my contact number was on the caller id if anyone from BigLicks needed to call me back. As a contract IT person, who is familiar with long hours and unexpected issues, I understand the challenges of a small business, particularly if you work alone most of the time. One thing that is unacceptable is a lack of communication with your customers. Without customers, your business, small or large, does not exist. Any business owner that has so little respect for their customer's that they don't show up for a job, and don't call or text with a status or an alternative, doesn't deserve to be in business. After seeing other recent reviews regarding this business's unprofessional and unreliable behavior, and my own experience with this company, it's obvious that this business's owner / employee's only work when it's convenient for him / them. Folks, there are several other professional and reliable locksmiths in the same area as BigLicks Locks. Consider giving one of them your business and taking a pass on this company. You will likely save yourself much in time and frustration. I certainly wish I paid more heed to the unhappy reviewers of this company.
