When you call this company, you get an independent contractor who is not affiliated with the company. My particular independent contractor made me wait two days (I was given time ranges and he didn't show up until 30 minutes after the second time range I waited through). He ended up telling me he was going on vacation in two weeks and my part was expected in 10 days so he would not repair my oven. He told me to call another company. This is after I paid for the service call and had given half of the payment for the part and was told the part was ordered. I called Bluemont Appliance repair to get a refund and they told me that they could not help me because the technician was an independent contractor. I was told to call my credit card and put a "stop payment" on the charge that had already gone through. There is no guarantee I will be getting my refund and I felt this whole experience was very unprofessional and borderline fraudulent.
