Wonderful experience! Our oldest had progressed to the point where his entry level cello wasn't enough to take him through high school orchestra. We were shown several models ranging from $2,200-$4,000 (including bow and case). After complaining that the first cello I purchased (not from here) was essentially worthless, he suggested that the finer (pricier) instruments tend to hold their value. I purchased the higher end model. Smash cut to a few years later and my 15 y/o had discovered sports and basically abandoned orchestra. I brought the cello back and consigned it. It took a few months, and honestly I'd forgotten about it, but Mr. Brooks called me one day and said he sold it for what I paid (minus consignment fees). I received his check in the mail 3 days later. I'm sad my child no longer plays, but Mercury Fine Violins made the whole experience much easier. Thanks, Mithra Green
