My experience was a lot like Macy's. I could not stand working with the property managers either and felt like they were very rude and condescending as well. Things that needed fixed took way too long to be repaired. One instance that really frustrated me was a situation with the blinds in the home. I reported the blinds in front of my sliding glass door had been worn out from use. The managers hired hired a contractor to come and replace blinds throughout the whole house , of which the contractor actually hung none of (instead left them in a pile for me to hang). And then sent the bill for all of that work for me to pay. If I had know that was going to happen I would have replaced the single blind for $10 and not have had to deal with the contractor etc ... by the way that service cost me over $200
