Went to sell a ring here a while back, the "expert" who examined it said they wouldn't take it because of the diamonds color and cut weren't up to their standards (went in without telling them I knew exactly the cut, clarity and quality just to see what they would offer). As I was waiting I walked around and saw the prices and they were WAY below what I was looking to get, so obviously I wasn't going to get what I hoped, but telling me it was worthless? Wow, don't let them dictate the worth because I went on to diamond buyers intl. and they bought it for $2,000. Listen guys, if it's too nice for your shop, just say so. Or maybe get someone who knows what they're doing.
