I would strongly advise against ANY work done by David's Oriental Rugs/Care Full Carpets Corporation. Several years ago I had them clean and restore a fine antique rug. The rug was to cleaned, and its ends bound and chained. The torn areas to be re-woven and and an old patch replaced. Lastly there was to be dye restoration on the rug.
The cost was $12, 359.00
The patch was glued. There was no re-weaving, anywhere. The "dye restoration" must have been done with water soluble paint, as it totally washed off in a recent cleaning by a professional antique rug cleaner.
They are a total sham.
Unfortunately, I had recommended them to a friend, and he destroyed their rug.
A lot of talk.
Not professionally trained or qualified.
I would NEVER recommend them or trust them with ANY rug, far less one of any value.
