Being a woman and dealing with auto repairs makes it a nervous thing because most woman don't have a clue when it comes to a vehicle and repairs. David Cerulli-Vice President and his mechanics are a very good shop to take your vehicle for repairs. David is a very nice man who tells you what you need done honestly. His mechanics take your old parts off & they show you the problem. David then gives you the best price to get the repair done. He helped me tremendously because I had two vehicles needing oil changes, front brakes & rotors and cleaning out the rear drums. I received a great discount! I also had already purchased my wiper blades & he installed them for no extra charge on one of the vehicles. Both vehicles need to be inspected by the end of this month and I know now that they will pass with no problems. Thank you David and his team of mechanics for working so quickly to get the work done. The wait time wasn't bad for what I had done to two vehicles. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for an honest place that fixes what you need and not try to sell you on stuff that is not needed, Everyone needs a good doctor and your vehicles need a good repair shop with good mechanics. See you soon David and the crew for my vehicles 7500 mile follow-up!!!
I went to Precise based on their solid Google review for a repair of my window motor. Unfortunately I was quite disappointed with their service. My window fell off the track and would not roll up or down. Therefore i temporarily but a plastic bag and duct tape on the window to prevent rain from accumulating in the vehicle due to the ominous forecast. I diagnosed the issue with the window myself by removing the door panel of the vehicle prior to taking the car into the shop. I kept all parts in a plastic bag and stored them in the vehicle so that the car shop would have no problem reassembling the door panel upon completion of the job. I dropped the car off and they said they were a little busy and it was going to take them a few hours to diagnose it (no issue with me). I got a call around noon telling me what they had to replace and the estimated cost (again no issue, price was reasonable). They had to order the part and said it wouldn't be fixed until the next morning. I called the shop the next morning and they said they received the wrong part and that it would be ready that afternoon instead (understandable, not their fault they received the wrong part). I went to pick up the vehicle and paid for the repair. Upon review of the invoice i noticed they had charged me for the diagnostic fee which was supposed to be removed if i got the repair done with them. The receptionist said "good catch" and promptly fixed it (almost overpaid $95). I went to the vehicle to test out the new window motor and noticed that the automatic up function was not working. After returning to the receptionist she grabbed one of the mechanics who then argued with me saying that no cars have an automatic up feature associated with passenger doors (not true at all and very frustrating). The receptionist then called the dealership and they proved the mechanic wrong and said they it was probably a faulty part. They said they would order another part but it would be a few days but i needed my vehicle so i told them i would return when they got the part since i had a semi-functioning window and it would temporarily do the job. After i left the repair shop i looked in the back seat and realized they hadn't installed all the parts (still sitting in the back seat). Instead of dealing with the mechanic again i went home and took the door panel off and reinstalled the parts they had neglected to put in. Upon taking the door panel off however i noticed it was missing a few bolts and they were nowhere to be found. Additionally, i noticed they did a haphazard job of removing the duct tape and plastic bag that covered my window and used such force to damage my window visor (partially removed). Magically the auto-up function of my window starting working again so i did not have to return to the repair shop. I can honestly say this is the worst experience i have ever had with a repair shop. They cost me time and hassle by making me figure out what they chose not to reinstall correctly and now i have to go buy replacement bolts to replace the ones they lost/chose not to install. Do yourself a favor and do not go to this shop, i certainly will not be returning.
