SLN has no loyalty to their good employees. You can put your job ahead of your health, your family and your life, but in the end, it’s all about who you know and who’s friends with who. The corporate office is extremely cliche, they hire and promote friends, and will burn good employees no matter how dedicated they are. There is no work-life balance for on-site employees. No matter how many hours you put in or how hard you work, it is never enough. Salaried employees are expected to work a ridiculous amount of hours. Properties are always short-staffed, and good luck getting ANY help. Upper management will deliberately lie and tell you they are there for you as a valued employee, but watch out, it’s just a facade. It is all about money at any expense, including employees health, dignity, career and livelihood. Long story short, SLN cares very little for their employees unless you are in their corporate group of friends. It’s a shame, because back in the day, when the company was ran by some of the originals, SLN was an ethical company where hard working employees were valued. Current day management is deceptive and cheats not only their employees, but their paying residents as well. I've witnessed this first hand for multiple years. No such thing as an exit interview with SLN, which shows how little they care about losing valuable employees. Employees are a dime a dozen to this company.
No loyalty, No employee support, lack of resources, cliche mgmt.
