Wisteria Farm and Vineyard

Gorgeous winery - they made us feel like family while we were there. We did the wine tasting, bought a glass and walked around the grounds, and bought some bottles to take home! The farm is beautiful, with a fantastic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are chickens and sheep roaming through the farm and grapevines. Plenty of benches and swings to sit on if you want to relax for a minute. We were able to start a tab and roam the grounds freely before checking out. The wines are distinctly different, all of them having a buttery & nutty smell. They're mountainous varietals, with a ton of flavor and smooth finish! My personal favorites were the Adonis red blend and the Sweet Daisy dessert wine (a portion of the price of this one goes to the local SPCA). Overall, this was a wonderful stop on a romantic vacation. Highly recommended for any couples or groups of friends who want to take a break from the tourist itinerary. Wonderful service and great selection of unique wines. Absolutely LOVED the walking trails you can take while sipping on a glass of wine. Such a great experience.
