Blackbird Bakery

I really wanted to like this place, but just can't. I've gone into it twice. The first time, the counter was staffed by a horribly pretentious young man. Dude, you're working the counter. Get over yourself. More recently, it was staffed by a very nice young lady. I tried some of the cookie samples, which were moist and delicious. So I bought five or so cookies, one of each type available. All but one of the cookies were stale. Two were inedible. Seriously, for me to not eat a cookie is a bad sign.
