I wish it could be still open . Such are the realites of economics. It is in the best hands being owned by Colonial Williamsburg. America's liberal public schools shun history and train children to view it as boring, and a place like this suffers as the end result. Knowlege of the history of any place increases your appreciation and enjoyment of living in or visiting that place.
