I called Hendricks on Saturday about a problem with my Jeep vehicle (needed a part replaced). They told me it was in stock, gave me the price, and the estimated time to repair and we agreed I'd bring it by on Monday to have the work done. I told them I would need a shuttle to work and back in the afternoon to get my Jeep and Troy confirmed they have and would be ready to provide a shuttle ride. Sounds great, right?
So Monday morning I come in and give them the key and information needed to check the vehicle in for service. Since I'm new to the area this was my first visit to the dealer. AFTER we've completed everything he asks when I can come back for the vehicle. I ask when the shuttle stops running. At first Troy states they don't normally run shuttles to pick customers (WHAT?!?) but asks where I work. I tell him (its 11.2 miles from the dealer) and he says that's too far and they will not provide a shuttle to pick me up. After digesting this I said I would figure that out this afternoon and asked when the shuttle was leaving this morning. Troy then said the shuttle would not give me a ride this morning or this afternoon. He explained the shuttle only operates in the Woodbridge vicinity - no further. Be aware, if you live outside Woodbridge you can not count on a shuttle from this place.
Needless to say, this dealership will not receive any further business from me - loyal Jeep only driver - ever. It is 11.2 miles from the dealer to my place of work and 11.2 miles was not worth their time to keep me as a customer.
