Youth Sports Virginia Training Center

Excellent gym. Early this week, I visited Youth Sports to get some info and to sign my almost-5-year-old up for a trial class. The woman behind the front desk was helpful in getting us started, and was just the sweetest. My son had a great time at his class, but it was very apparent that he was placed in the wrong group. We should have been placed into the preschool level, but since my son's birthday is so soon, the receptionist placed him with the beginner boys for his trial. Austin was incredibly patient with my son as he disrupted his whole teaching flow. My son had to be herded to each area, and frequently went off wanting to do his own thing lol... Austin, I'm so sorry you had to put up with that! We should have been directed toward the preschool level. After the class, I read over the info they'd given me again and saw that there was a specific preschool group for ages 4 and 5 my son would have been much better suited for. I'm not sure why we weren't given that suggestion. All that said, it's a great gym and we look forward to signing my son up for the appropriate level.
